Kent Police is putting in place a number of measures in order to make our towns, villages and beaches safer this Summer.

Kent is a safe place to live, work and visit. But during this period we often see a rise in certain issues and so Officers and Staff will be proactive to try and deal with them. They will have three main priorities this Summer – violent crime, antisocial behaviour and road safety.

There will be patrols targeting crime and antisocial behaviour hotspots, “walk and talk” events held with the public and road checks.

This will be supported by the transition to the new neighbourhood policing model, which sees PCs being put into local beats and the expansion of the Rural Taskforce.

So it’s more important than ever that issues are reported to Kent Police so that they can focus their efforts on the issues affecting you. You can find more information on reporting, investigations and support services athttp://www.linktr.ee/victimvoice.

I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Summer.
