The PM is listening and acting on policing concerns.
I was invited to join PCCs and Chief Constables in London this evening for a meeting with the PM, Home Secretary and Policing Minister to discuss the policing of JSO protests.
It was a very constructive meeting, where the policing response was discussed and ideas exchanged about what further action could be taken to minimise the disruption to communities.
It is acknowledged that the response has improved and there is a collective drive from Government, policing and other agencies to do even more, including through different powers and tactics.
