Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP, the Home Secretary, paid a visit to Canterbury on Saturday to speak at a political event that I attended.
He gave a wide ranging speech about the current political landscape including Brexit (something I may have lobbied him about whilst there!) and answered questions. It was good to hear him express his support for stop and search, wanting Officers and Staff to feel confident to use the power.
He spoke about the offensive weapons legislation he is taking through Parliament and efforts to tackle the online exploitation of children at his recent meetings with tech giants.

Later on in the day, I was given the opportunity to speak to delegates at the event too about my activities and achievements.
